COMMERCIAL FLOORING / EXPERTISE
Skirtings, capping and coving
Every junction is part of the finish.

Resolve the floor-to-wall detail
We install PVC skirtings, set-in welded-toe profiles and sit-on skirting. We consider the covering, wall finish and intended use when discussing the appropriate detail.
Skirting is not simply a decorative afterthought. Its height, profile, corners and termination points contribute to the finished installation and how the perimeter is maintained.

Where a coved finish is specified, we fit suitable vinyl over a cove former with compatible capping accessories. The covering, former, cap and wall junction must work as one detail.
Coving can help create a continuous return at the perimeter where required by the brief. It does not by itself establish compliance with a sector standard or a product performance claim.
Corners, thresholds and changes of material
Plan internal and external corners, door frames and transitions before installation. Differences in covering thickness can affect the chosen profile and the final floor level.
A coordinated palette and consistent junctions help keep the interior visually calm. Product dimensions, colours and availability are confirmed against the selected system.
Discuss the whole installation
Provide the intended floor finish, wall construction and any existing perimeter details. These help define whether sit-on skirting, welded-toe skirting or a coved installation is appropriate. Safety flooring and PVC wall cladding can be reviewed alongside the perimeter specification.
